Survivors of childhood cancer are at increased risk of developing HPV cancers. Protect them with HPV vaccination. It is safe and is more than 90% effective at preventing 6 types of HPV cancers in adulthood. HPV vaccination is recommended for everyone aged 9-26 years and for some people aged 27-45 years who were not vaccinated when younger. The Children's Oncology Group currently recommends 3 total doses of the HPV vaccine for childhood cancer survivors, starting 6 months after completion of cancer treatment, regardless of age at first dose.

When should childhood cancer survivors vaccinate?

AGE: 9-45 years
